    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Solutions Sales Engineer will perform a variety of sales and engineering related functions in support of a fast-paced, multi-disciplined equipment engineering business. This position will provide the opportunity to drive and oversee all systems sales and implementation activities for the organization. The Solutions Sales Engineer is expected to design, sell, and support automated plant water systems for industrial reuse applications.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
    * Utilize design software to create P&IDs for the implementation of automated plant water systems and do engineering calculations for system configurations
    * Promote the sales of automated plant water systems and ancillary automated process systems for the textile services market and food processing industries
    * Share technical specs, schematics, and ROI calculations for products and applications with the customer
    * Manage the installation and startup of plant water, heating, and other ancillary automated systems
    * Provide customer technical support for running systems in the field
    * Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer application requirements, assess customers met and unmet needs
    * Develop proposals, product presentations, and other product data required to close sales contracts
    * Monitor your customer engagement activities regularly by inputting your activity into the company's CRM software; maintain clean and updated records for all leads and accounts.
    * Support the quarterly sales growth targets within a defined product set and territory
    * Attend and in some cases present at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events
    * Help expand product market share by working with Sales & Marketing Manager to develop effective product sales strategies.
    * Additional duties as directed by management

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
    * Proficient with Microsoft Excel & engineering design software such as AutoCad, SolidWorks, Fusion, or Matlab
    * Ability to comprehend and distill complex topics into concise and simple explanations
    * Strong sales and information retention skills with the ability to follow a defined workflow
    * Displays a high level of confidence, enthusiasm and a positive attitude with the desire to succeed and exceed customer expectations.
    * Demonstrate an ability to display patience, empathy, and strong listening skills while ensuring customer needs are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory fashion.
    * Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize complex, diversified responsibilities, multi-task effectively and execute tasks with minimum supervision.
    * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality by handling sensitive and private customer information
    * Proven ability to meet deadlines and key metrics, work independently, as a team player, and drive results in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
    * Travel as required. To meet the travel requirements, must have a personal credit card and an available credit limit for expenses which are reimbursed bi-monthly.
    * Must have a valid driver's license

    Position Summary

    The company is entering an exciting phase of growth and is looking for a D365-focused Systems Analyst / Solutions Architect to serve as a key partner between business stakeholders and technical teams.

    This role will focus on Business Central ownership, process improvement, solution design, system optimization, data quality, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will understand both business operations and ERP functionality, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

    This is not a developer-heavy position. Development experience is valuable, but the primary focus will be systems analysis, ERP configuration, workflow optimization, integrations, and helping Business Central become a reliable foundation for continued growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Ownership

    * Act as a strategic Business Central partner across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, and other business functions.
    * Gather business requirements and translate needs into scalable ERP solutions, workflows, and system improvements.
    * Analyze current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize efficiency, automation, accuracy, and visibility.
    * Support Business Central configuration, testing, enhancements, and ongoing system optimization.
    * Promote best practices around system scalability, governance, and maintaining a clean ERP environment.

    Data, Integrations & System Performance

    * Support master data management, reporting accuracy, data quality, and system controls.
    * Partner with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and developers on integrations between Business Central and connected systems.
    * Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate solutions.
    * Help maintain system reliability, performance, and overall health.

    Cross-Functional Partnership & User Adoption

    * Serve as the connection point between business users, Technology, vendors, and development resources.
    * Support user acceptance testing, documentation, training, and adoption of new features and workflows.
    * Work with leadership and stakeholders to prioritize enhancements based on business value and operational impact.
    * Provide ongoing support and recommendations to improve ERP utilization.

    Qualifications

    * Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or similar Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms.
    * 5+ years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, Functional Consultant, Solutions Architect, ERP Consultant, or related role.
    * Strong understanding of ERP processes including finance, accounting, purchasing, inventory, logistics, sales, order management, and/or supply chain.
    * Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, identifying gaps, and designing practical ERP solutions.
    * Experience supporting ERP implementations, enhancements, configurations, integrations, testing, and post-go-live optimization.
    * Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    * Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business users.
    * Experience in distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, food, or other inventory-focused industries preferred.
    * Familiarity with Power BI, Power Platform, APIs, middleware, AL/extensions, or Business Central technical concepts is a plus.
    * Development experience is beneficial but secondary to functional ERP expertise.
    * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

    Responsibilities:

    * Develop technical specifications supporting the recommendations
    * Customize Business Central to meet these specifications
    * Define and develop data conversions and test scripts
    * Develop integrations between BC and other applications
    * Write AL extensions
    * Install, upgrade, and apply updates to Business Central
    * Develop and enhance company built BC solutions and third party applications

    Qualifications:

    * 5+ years technical expertise in developing in Business Central required
    * Experience customizing Business Central
    * Experience with Lanham EDI, E-Ship, E-Receive required
