    We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer to join a UK law firm on a initial 6 month contract basis. Our Client has over 150 years of heritage, operates across East Anglia, London, and surrounding areas, providing legal services to businesses, institutions, and individuals both domestically and internationally.

    **Role Overview:**
    The SharePoint Developer will be part of the Data Systems team within the wider IT Development department, which consists of three sub-teams: Data Systems, Product Delivery, and Product Development. Your primary responsibility will be enhancing the firm's existing SharePoint Online-based intranet. This project includes addressing high-level requirements such as bug fixes, cosmetic improvements, data flow management, and the development of new web parts.

    **Key Responsibilities:**
    - Develop and deliver SharePoint Online solutions for the firm's intranet, including web part development and M365 integrations.
    - Collaborate with technical specialists and key stakeholders, including the Marketing and Business Development teams, to ensure business needs are met.

    This role works to define and lead the end-to-end processes to bring data from acquired companies' system(s) into standard defined system(s) leveraging repeatable, scalable, and expeditious methods. The Senior Data Integration Engineer is responsible for data conversion planning, data conversion execution, data conversion testing, data validation, and the advancement of data conversion methodologies and practices.     Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    * Perform analyses of varied source and target systems and their data models as well as the data contained therein to facilitate effective data extraction, data transformation, and data loading from legacy systems to go forward systems
    * Identify and document data conversion requirements
    * Strategize and design methods for effective reusable, and repeatable data conversion processes up to and through sunsetting the source platform(s)
    * Work closely with IT development organization to implement data conversion designs
    * Participate in the execution and testing of defined data conversion processes
    * Identify and solution for data anomalies
    * Work with stakeholders to understand data elements and perform data validation resulting from conversion activities
    * Responsible for definition and continuous improvement of data conversion processes, best practices and methodologies.
    * Develop business acumen related to Master Data, Transactional Data, and general business processing to enable effective discussions with non-technical personnel
    * Effectively assists in defining data conversion project tasks and data conversion project task timelines and execute against the same

    Minimum Requirements

    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related work experience
    * 5+ years of performing data extraction, data transformation, and data loading from legacy system(s) to go forward systems.
    * Solid ability to dissect large and small relational databases and find and understand relations from one table to other(s).
    * Proven leadership experience in designing mechanisms for and performing data conversions from varied source systems/files of data including ERP, Accounting, Customer Relationship, Manufacturing, and Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems, MS Access, Excel to appropriate destination system(s) databases.
    * Technical skills to include:
    * AS/400 based ERP; preferably S2K, or JDA or similar
    * Exceptional Database Structure knowledge and Database Management
