    Job Title: Release Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Plan, schedule, and control software development and deployment, ensuring smooth transitions between test environments and production.
    * Collaborate with development and operations teams for efficient builds, deployment, and testing.
    * Manage risks and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
    * Coordinate release content based on service requests, third-party applications, and OS updates.
    * Communicate project plans, commitments, and changes, including requirements, QA plans, schedules, and scope changes.
    * Conduct readiness reviews and Go/No-Go reviews.
    * Produce deployment documentation and implementation plans.
    * Provide weekly release reports to management and stakeholders.
    * Continuously improve the release process by documenting issues and developing automation plans.

    Required Skills:

    * Proven experience in managing complex software releases.
    * Understanding of SDLC and various development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall).
    * Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
    * Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
    * Ability to identify and mitigate release-related risks.
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    * Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN) and branching/merging strategies.
    * Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.

    Desirable Skills:

    * Experience with Azure and related deployment and management services.
    * Experience in database migrations and managing database change scripts.
    * Understanding of the integration lifecycle.
    * Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to release management.
    * Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe).
