    Datacenter Deployment Lead

    We're hiring on behalf of a leading client for a Datacenter Deployment Lead to support the rollout of cutting-edge GPU infrastructure. This is a key role for someone who thrives in high-performance environments and has a passion for datacenter excellence.

    In this position, you'll lead the physical deployment of large-scale datacenter hardware-from initial design to final installation. You'll ensure everything is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability, supporting infrastructure that powers AI and compute-intensive applications.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Design and implement rack layouts for servers, GPUs, and switches
    *

    Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for performance and compatibility
    *

    Plan and manage structured cabling, including routes, lengths, and procurement
    *

    Ensure installations meet datacenter constraints (power, cooling, weight)
    *

    Assist with the setup and initial configuration of network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches)
    *

    Serve as the on-site technical lead during deployments, resolving issues on the ground
    *

    Develop and maintain deployment documentation and standards

    What You Bring

    *

    Deep knowledge of structured and fiber cabling (AOC, DAC, optics)
    *

    Strong hands-on experience with datacenter hardware and networking systems
    *

    Proven ability to assess and optimize BOMs
    *

    Solid track record of leading datacenter deployments
    *

    Familiarity with CMDB tools like Netbox
    *

    Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

    Bonus Skills

    *

    Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible)
    *

    Understanding of Infiniband fabrics and AI-optimized networking
    *

    Ability to diagnose and improve AI fabric performance

    A leading organization is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping its data and insights capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and evolution of a modern Data & Insights Platform, provide architectural guidance, and help operationalize a forward-looking data strategy. The role reports to the Head of Data & Insights.

    Role Overview

    * Drive the implementation of the data strategy by developing foundational data infrastructure, data products, and platform capabilities.
    * Champion best practices in data engineering and foster continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Leadership & Development

    * Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using GCP services (especially BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Dataflow)
    * Lead pilot projects to validate implementation approaches and technology choices.
    * Promote the adoption of modern data technologies such as dbt for data transformation, DataOps practices, and internal tooling to empower data usage across teams.
    * Shape the strategy and roadmap for the Data & Insights Platform in alignment with business needs.

    Team Collaboration

    * Foster a collaborative and focused team environment.
    * Mentor team members and support skill development, particularly in data platforms.
    * Participate in team building and recruitment efforts.

    Qualifications

    * Fluent in English and Norwegian, both spoken and written.
    * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields

    Preferred Qualifications

    * At least 3 years of experience in data migration projects using modern tools and technologies.
    * Strong background in Agile methodologies.

    Your role will involve designing, developing and maintaining data infrastructure in cloud to allow colleagues in data science and analytics to access insights & create solutions, and support stakeholders in making informed decisions

    Your role can cover

    * Data Integration and Processing: Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to identify and integrate diverse datasets from different sources, and utilise ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and enrich data for analysis



    * Data Modelling and Architecture: Design and implement scalable data models and architectures optimised for performance, scalability, and reliability. Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support needs



    * Analytics and Visualisation: Develop data pipelines to enable advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning applications. Use tools such as Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights into energy consumption, production, and trends



    * Optimisation and Automation: Continuously monitor and optimise data pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency. Implement automation techniques to streamline data ingestion, processing, and analysis

    We are looking for you to have some of the following skills/experiences:

    * Bachelors and/or Masters in an IT or Engineering related subject
    * Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Blob Storage for data integration, processing, storage, and analytics in the cloud
    * Experience in developing and deploying ETL solutions using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources into SQL Server databases.
    * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for version control, continuous integration, and automated deployment of data solutions.
    * Strong skills in data visualisation and reporting using Power BI
    * Proficiency in Python and SQL
