    Data Platform Tech Lead

    FRG is partnered up with a successful technology partner with Microsoft Business Solutions. There teams work endlessly with their customers on value adding projects across all aspects of Norwegian society and social responsibility! As a company they truly understand how technology can impact business and have got a great reputation right through Norway.

    The company is split up into three main areas of expertise known as counselling, project implementation and customer development, allowing them to adapt a constructive approach to their customers, resulting in many long term partnerships across a variety of customers across SMEs to large enterprises within a few specific industries such as distribution and logistics, retail, nutrient and energy allowing them to be the best in their space.

    With a strong reputation in Dynamics & Modern Workplace solutions, they are expanding their offerings in Data & Analytics with a current team of 6 in this space they are looking for a figurehead to join the group as Tech Lead / Architect to help lead the Analytics practice! The role will be a mixture of hands on and for the right candidate could have personnel responsibilities depending on your background.

    You will work with the design of data architectures, build data models and data pipelines, integrate data from different sources, including streaming data, and make data available for different types of applications all Microsoft technologies and working endlessly with our clients making the use of Fabric etc to get them in the best spot.

    - Experience working on data platforms across modern tech such as Azure, Snowflake and Databricks as they look to take on a few more enterprise clients.
    - Proven experience with ETL processes and comfortable accessing data and extracting data yourself, and prepping it for analytics purposes
    - A good eye for spotting trends, understanding businesses and being able to advice clients why certain things are happening.
    - Support clients data platform, building reporting functions in conjunction with data lake and warehouse infrastructure.

    The department is based at intersection between business and technology, where you will work alongside fellow data engineers, as well as analysts and advisors within business & data strategy
