Look no further than this well-established, growing Third Party Logistics company who is looking to add a Controller to their team.

This position would be a key influence in the organization, reporting directly into the CEO, and responsible for not only accounting responsibilities, but also with maintaining their ERP System (Dynamics NAV) including an upcoming upgrade/cloud migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

We need someone who can wear many different hats and collaborate with teams across accounting, financial planning & analysis, compliance, HR, and IT.

Your New Role:

* Oversee the primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling Finance, Accounting, and Administrative activities of the company.
* Maximize the return on financial assets by establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. They also oversee cost and general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll.
* Hire, train, and develop all finance, and administrative personnel is a crucial responsibility. The Controller contributes to establishing business performance objectives and strategic planning while being held accountable for meeting financial and other objectives.
* Assists in financial analysis including risk assessment, analyzing efficiency, and informing policy decisions.
* Establish methods and systems for reporting; identify which reports and dashboards to develop and regularly review to monitor company performance and identify issues before they turn into problems.
* Act as the in-house Financial Systems Manager, including the maintenance of Dynamics NAV as well as the oversight on the company's upgrade to the Business Central Cloud.

What You'll Need:

* 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, primarily in leadership roles
* Supply chain, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing background
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* MBA degree or active CPA is preferred but not required
* Expert knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics (Navision, NAV, BC)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and negotiate with vendors

* $100-130k base salary, commensurate with experience
