FRG is partnered up with an established data analytics consultancy in the Western region of Norway who is looking to expand in Oslo.

There teams work endlessly with their customers on value adding projects across all aspects of Norwegian society and social responsibility! As a company they focus heavily within sustainability and partner up with various clients to leverage data and analytics to improve their business in this area.

In total the company has around 40 analytics consultants working with data engineering, platform engineering, data analytics and data science. Analytics have an extensive knowledge of the data/analytics domain and want to increase our position in Oslo

They are looking for a technology / consulting manager to head up the Analytics practice managing a small team within Oslo, but with the company backing to expand in this region. With a wide variety of long standing projects across Stavanger and successfully landing some new initiatives in Oslo and Trondheim, you'll be able to contribute straight away with some very exciting projects.

Projects vary from Aquaculture, Construction, Environmental, Fish Farming and many more.

As an Analytics Consulting Manager you will play crucial role in overseeing and managing technology consulting projects across the region.

The role will start as being part billable, part management, and will gradually phase out, as you grow a team around you. As a motivator to yourself, the company will offer a good compensation package, along with a profit scheme, so you can reap the rewards of your hard work!

You will be responsible for:

- Project Leadership
- Client Relationship Management
- Team Management
- Technology Strategy Development
- Stakeholder management
- Sales
- Market Analysis

You will also be hands on when required with tasks of data architectures, build data models and data pipelines, integrate data from different sources.

We prefer projects with new technology, which means one of the leading cloud platforms and working on tech such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric and much more!

Experience / Requirements

- Computer Science or Economics Degree
- Solid Analytics or Engineering background
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience working on data platforms across modern tech such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks
- Experience working in cross functional teams
- A good eye for spotting trends, understanding businesses and being able to advice clients why certain things are happening.
