    This is where you come in; my client is looking for a developer who has experience with legacy Java technology being migrated into .NET and SQL. the ideal Software Developer would have knowledge/ experience in both languages to aid the team with the migration.



    In this role you will have the opportunity to learn from our team of experts as well as collaborating with multiple cross platform teams, stakeholders and users to build your knowledge/ understanding of the full software development life cycle.

    Job description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Engineer / Data Warehouse Developer to join a well-established Financial Services organisation in their Central London office - they operate a hybrid working model, and you will spend 2-3 days per week in their modern office to collaborate with your team.

    Following a recent company acquisition, they have kicked-off a large integration programme of work, including a large-scale Data Warehouse integration project. This will be a core focus of your role, and will involve uplifting and redeveloping their existing Data Warehouse to serve the needs of both entities.

    The role requires extensive experience with SSIS to uplift, re-build and optimise ETL processes, ensuring seamless data ingestion, analysis and integration from various source systems, into their unified Data Warehouse. You'll ensure the stability and scalability of the Data Warehouse, ensuring it can handle increasing data volumes and user demands.

    In doing so, you'll collaborate closely with the wider data and development team, subject matter experts and business stakeholders.

    This role would be well-suited to a Developer with strong T-SQL and SSIS skills, who is keen to play a key role in a large-scale and transformative Data Warehousing initiative.

    Requirements:

    * Extensive T-SQL programming skills - writing complex scripts, developing and optimising stored procedures etc.
    * Extensive SSIS skills - to rebuild and optimise ETL processes
    * Experience with Data Warehouse development
    * Some experience in scripting with PowerShell, C# and Python
    * Experience in Financial Services would be beneficial but not essential
    * Experience with WhereScape Red would be beneficial but not essential
    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work in a team-oriented environment

    I'm looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to join a rapidly growing Microsoft Solutions Partner, and play a critical role in accelerating their growth through the delivery of exceptional Microsoft BI and Data solutions.

    They have developed a cutting-edge Microsoft-aligned Data Platform to help their customers better manage their data, uncover new insights, and leverage AI to help plan for the future - which has been revolutionary for many of their customers!

    This is a highly technical role, requiring excellent knowledge across Microsoft technologies including the Azure Data Platform, Power BI, the SQL BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).     This is largely a technical role, with around 70% of your time spent hands on developing and engineering data solutions using the Azure tech stack. The remaining 30% of your time will be spent directly with clients promoting these data solutions.
