D365FO Finance Consultant - Hybrid - £65k

Nigel Frank is partnering with a well-respected Not-for-Profit organisation in Wales undergoing a large-scale D365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) transformation to enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.

Our client is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to play a key role in D365FO Finance implementation, process optimisation, and business transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a mission-driven organisation, contributing to improvements that will support its wider social impact.

Responsibilities:

* Act as the bridge between finance teams and technical consultants, ensuring smooth implementation and optimisation of D365FO Finance modules.
* Gather business requirements, analyse financial processes, and translate them into system functionalities and enhancements.
* Support data migration efforts from legacy systems to D365FO.
* Assist in system integration's with third-party applications such as payroll, banking, and reporting tools.
* Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), conduct training, and ensure successful adoption of D365FO Finance functionalities.
* Work with stakeholders to develop financial reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and D365FO reporting tools.
* Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting system issues and driving continuous improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Experience of documenting process maps using Visio.
* Deep understanding of functional implementation experience of D365 Finance and Operation (GL, AP, AR, Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project Accounting, Credit & Collection, Procurement, Inventory Intercompany, and Consolidation modules).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
* Knowledge of D365 F&O system with experience in helping to develop, design, and configure solutions.
* Demonstratable business analyst experience in ERP process solution design and process mapping.

D365FO Finance Business Analyst - Wales - £65k

Nigel Frank are working closely with a well-established organisation, assisting their search for a D365FO Finance Business Analyst.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale digital finance transformation programme. As the Finance Business Analyst, you'll be instrumental in analysing, mapping, and redesigning financial processes for integration into D365FO. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and support an efficient, streamlined go-live.

You'll be part of a transformation programme aimed at building a centre of excellence for financial operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence process design, improve systems, and help shape a more efficient and automated finance function.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead workshops to capture business requirements and map existing ('As Is') and future-state ('To Be') processes.
* Propose and document finance process solutions within D365FO, with a focus on modules such as Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, and more.
* Collaborate with implementation partners to configure and test solutions that align with business objectives.
* Develop user stories, functional specifications, and test cases to support user acceptance testing.

Skills & Qualifications

* Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
* Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW or equivalent).
* Demonstrable experience in D365 F&O implementation, particularly in finance-related modules.
* Strong experience in process mapping and documentation (e.g. using Microsoft Visio).
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proven ability to bridge business and technical requirements in an ERP project environment

I am looking for a data engineer who has experience in Databricks, Azure, SQL, Python and Spark to join a well-established organisation who are currently expanding their data team.

Our client is partnered with both Databricks and Microsoft and they deliver data solutions for a diverse range of clients.
