    Key Responsibilities:

    * Lead incident response efforts, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    * Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    * Mentor and train junior operators.
    * Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and maintenance.
    * Handle advanced customer support tasks, resolving escalations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    * Contribute to optimizing operational workflows and documentation.
    * Work shifts, provide on-call support, and be ready to work extended hours during critical incidents or high-demand projects.
    * Willingness to travel to support operations in additional data centres, assist in business projects, and attend training courses.

    About You:

    * Strong understanding of data centre operations, hardware, and networking concepts.
    * Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
    * Leadership and team management skills.
    * At least 2 years of experience in data centre operations, with relevant certifications.

    Nice to Have:

    Are you passionate about building the infrastructure that powers the future of AI?

    We are seeking a talented Data Centre Specialist (Deployment Engineer) to join a rapidly growing, innovative cloud provider focused on delivering high-performance GPU infrastructure for AI-driven organisations.

    You'll play a key role in designing, planning, and deploying large-scale GPU infrastructure projects across Europe. This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for everything from reviewing technical specifications to physically laying out hardware in data centres.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Design and layout IT equipment within data centres, ensuring optimal use of space and maintainability.
    * Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for compatibility and project requirements.
    * Ensure all deployments adhere to data centre environment maximums (power, cooling, weight).
    * Develop structured cabling designs and oversee cable pathing, length estimation, and ordering.
    * Define and enforce deployment standards.
    * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent, high-quality deployments.
    * Configure firewalls, routers, and initial switch setups.
    * Act as the onsite subject matter expert during deployments.

    About You

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    * Advanced knowledge of structured and fibre cabling (including AOC/DAC/optics and fibre interface standards).
    * Strong working knowledge of network and server hardware.
    * Experience creating and reviewing BOMs.
    * Significant previous data centre experience.
    * Familiarity with CMDB tooling (e.g., Netbox).
    * Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
    * Strong written and verbal communication.
    * Proactive, self-starter attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
    * Experience designing and implementing processes.

    Desirable:

    * Python and Ansible skills.
    * Experience with Infiniband fabrics.
    * Understanding of fat tree or rail-optimised designs for AI workloads.
    * Ability to perform performance-level diagnostics on AI fabric.

    Datacenter Deployment Design Engineer - Blönduós, Iceland



    On behalf of a client we are looking for a skilled Datacenter Deployment Design Engineer to join the team and play a key role in building next-generation GPU infrastructure.

    You'll be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the physical deployment of large-scale datacenter hardware, ensuring every installation is efficient, reliable, and future-proof. From reviewing BOMs and rack layouts to structured cabling and network setup, you'll be at the heart of delivering high-performance environments for AI and compute-intensive workloads.



    What You'll Do

    * Design and implement rack layouts for servers, switches, and GPUs.
    * Validate BOMs for compatibility, performance, and project requirements.
    * Plan structured cabling (pathways, lengths, and ordering).
    * Ensure compliance with datacenter limits on power, cooling, and weight.
    * Support initial firewall, router, and switch configurations.
    * Act as the on-site expert during deployments, solving problems in real time.
    * Define and maintain deployment standards and documentation.



    What We're Looking For

    * Advanced knowledge of structured and fibre cabling (AOC, DAC, optics).
    * Strong experience with datacenter hardware and network/server systems.
    * Proven ability to review BOMs and apply best practices.
    * Hands-on datacenter deployment experience.
