    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    * Building and managing data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric
    * Designing and maintaining data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes
    * Developing scalable data models for reporting in Power BI
    * Work closely with stakeholders to understand the needs of their individual business and designing tailored solutions to meet these needs

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    * Hands-on experience creating data pipelines using Azure services such as Synapse, Data Factory or Databricks
    * Strong understanding of SQL and Python/PySpark
    * Experience with Power BI and data modelling
    * Commercial experience with Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous

    A growing software company in Fareham, who've developed a suite of tools and applications, are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their Web Development team.

    Their applications are developed using PHP, nginx, RabbitMQ, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and they use custom-built frameworks which you'll be fully trained in. Your role will focus on developing and improving their current software systems, problem-solving, and advocating for best practice.

    Requirements

    * Ideally over 5 years' experience with PHP
    * Experience with cloud infrastructure - GCP would be highly beneficial
    * Experience with various data sources - MySQL, NoSQL, etc.
    * Use of TDD in workflow
    * Good debugging and analytical skills
    * Use of Code Profiling tools to optimise code performance
    * Experience with Kubernetes would be beneficial but not essential
    * Excellent communication skills / ability to liaise with different teams
