D365 BC Functional Consultant | $130K - Remote (25% Travel)

D365 Business Central Functional Consultant

A well-established technology consulting firm is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant with strong experience in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). This is a full-time, permanent, remote role based in the United States, with approximately 25% travel. The position focuses on enhancing business operations and streamlining processes through the implementation and support of D365 Business Central.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead client discovery and solution design sessions, translating business needs into ERP solutions.
* Configure and implement EDI transactions (X12, EDIFACT, XML, etc.), and ensure secure connectivity with trading partners.
* Support warehousing, manufacturing, and finance modules within Business Central.
* Design, test, and deploy integrations and customizations based on client requirements.
* Deliver end-user training, testing plans, and documentation to ensure successful adoption.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project meetings, risk identification, and solution delivery.
* Provide excellent client service and maintain strong working relationships.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Proven D365 Business Central implementation experience, especially in finance, warehousing, and manufacturing.
* Deep understanding of EDI solutions and integration processes.
* Strong presentation, client-facing, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to lead requirements gathering, produce fit-gap documentation, and guide user acceptance testing.
* Experience working with custom development teams to support client-specific needs.
* A sense of urgency, ownership, and commitment to continuous improvement.

D365 F&O Solutions Architect - NYC / Remote - $200k

Our client is a global Microsoft Dynamics F&O end user in the professional services and engineering space that is looking for an in-house Solutions Architect to take ownership of their business applications and lead continuous improvement projects.

For now, we need someone with a customer-centric mindset capable of optimizing user self-sufficiency and who is capable of problem solving support tickets and identifying paths for improvement strategically.

We are also looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of the project accounting module in D365 F&O as well as experience with CE integrations and Power Platform optimization.

Your New Role:

* Lead and own solution design of Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O across various finance & project accounting modules for a multinational organization
* Manage & lead a small internal team on D365 related delivery projects
* Function as a key contact internally and externally to advise on D365 technical designs and questions
* Acts as liaison between the organization and application vendors as required for implementation, problem resolution, application upgrades and bug fixes
* Lead and coach other project and support analysts on D365 design
* Lead and assist with configurations, data migrations, and UAT workshops on D365 projects
* Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and implement system improvements
* Design configurable solutions wherever possible instead of customizations
* Write, review, and approve FDDs created by other ERP analysts
* Design and implement interfaces to other business applications
* Apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of D365/AX
* Keep abreast of emerging technologies around Dynamics 365
* Develop new functionality and integrations with other systems as required to support business growth
* Collaborate with other functional and technical D365 ERP team members within the ERP Team and other groups within the IT Department
* Assist with enhance and support activities, conducting user training, solving break-fixes, gathering requirements, unit and regression testing for sprint and project items
* Provide business analysis and recommend best courses of action focusing on business processes first, technology second
* Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and end-user needs
* Propose solutions to best meet the requirements of the organization
* Work with end users to solve day-to-day business problems using the functionality of D365
* Set up procedures and testing methods to ensure the ongoing accuracy of data maintained within all applications
* Act as liaison between the organization and application vendors as required for implementation, problem resolution, application upgrades, and bug fixes
* Provide support and training to the user community

What You'll Need:

* 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/F&O, including at least 5 years in a lead role for D365 F&O full life cycle implementations
* Experience working in the Microsoft Partner channel preferred, not required
* Must have completed a minimum of 4 full life cycle F&O implementations
* Expertise with Project Accounting is a must
* Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE is a big plus
* Ability to interface well with users to solve their short and long-term problems
* Experience documenting current business processes and identify areas of improvement

Our client is a leading Microsoft ISV specializing in cloud-based accounting automation solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. What You'll Do:

* Analyze, design, and develop new features for our client's product suite on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (SaaS).
* Maintain and enhance existing codebases across multiple BC versions.
