Accounting Manager - Tampa, FL - $150K+
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join a manufacturing client with a growing finance team onsite in South Tampa, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles. This company will be launching a new roll out of ERP Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision. This person will be the key liaison between the regional Accounting team and all overseas divisions as well as leading teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.
* Familiar with international accounting & tax practice
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
* Manage monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
* Prepare financial reports, including budget variance analysis.
* Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
* Manage audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
* Recruit and develop Accounting talents
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
* 2-5 years of accounting managerial experience
* Must be proficient with ERP applications including Netsuite, Quickbooks, Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP etc.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
* CPA, or CMA is a must have
* Ability to speak Mandarin/Spanish is nice to have
