    Job description

    SQL DBA - Azure - Fully remote - £55K

    Client in financial services looking to add to their talented database team with a fully remote DBA.

    Although mainly on premise support, the company are making the move into the cloud space which will likely be a large proportion of the role moving forward.

    I'm looking for a DBA with strong experience in SQL Server (up to 2019), Powershell as well as performing back ups, restores, disaster recovery etc.

    * Performance Tuning and Optimisation of the highest standard.
    * Delivering High Availability and AlwaysOn.
    * Some development and automation with Azure and Powershell/Jenkins.

    Skills & Qualifications

    * Experience working with large databases (1TB+) and large volumes of databases (100+)
    * Extensive experience with SQL Server (up to 2019)
    * Maintaining high availability of all databases

    Benefits

    * Salary of up to £55,000 plus great benefits including discretionary bonus.

    Position Overview:

    As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient IT solutions. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the technical vision for our client's projects.     Qualifications and Skills:

    Proven experience as a Technical Architect in a remote work setting.

    Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

    Education and Experience:
