A well-established organisation based in Surrey are looking for a BI & Analytics Engineering Manager to lead a technical team of Developers, who are focused on building end-to-end solutions for various business teams, both on-premise and on Azure using a modern data platform architecture.

This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements, where you'll likely be required to come into their Epsom office around 1-2 days per week on average.

As a manager, you will responsible for coaching and leading a cross-functional team, and will be supported in taking on the role of Scrum Master - it's important to note that you don't necessarily need to have been a Scrum Master before, as long as you are happy to step into this role.

You will act as a role model in demonstrating data leadership, agile principles and engineering excellence. Whilst most of your role will be hands-off management and strategic work, you will still sometimes need to be technically hands-on, owning the enterprise data warehouse and a range of key data sources and analytical solutions including Power BI reporting.

As such, we are looking for an individual with a solid background in Microsoft BI & Analytics development, and a desire to lead a high-performing team. The role would be well-suited to an existing Manager, or a seasoned BI or Data Developer looking to take a step-up into Management.

Requirements:

* Extensive background in BI & Analytics Delivery - including requirements gathering, design, development, test & deployment
* Excellent SQL skills
* Excellent data analysis, design and modelling experience - Kimball modelling, developing ETL / data pipelines, tabular models
* Experience designing and building data visualisations - ideally in Power BI
* Experience or knowledge of Azure data platform technologies - e.g. data factory, synapse, databricks etc.
* Experience either formally managing or informally coaching others, with a desire to step into the role of Scrum Master

Senior Analytics Manager - Surrey/Hybrid - £90,000

I am currently working with a hugely successful global manufacturer who are looking for a Senior Analytics Manager to lead their team. This organisation are putting an increased focus on their world wide analytics function with the data team playing a pivotal role in this. You will lead a team of Developers, Engineers and Data Scientists to develop business intelligence solutions for different departments utilising both on premise and Azure cloud data platforms.

Data Engineer - London/Hybrid - £70,000

I am currently working with a market-leading organisation in the legal industry who are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. The organisation are currently focused on the development of their Azure data platform and you will play a key part in this project alongside other data driven Data Engineers.



You will play a vital role in helping implement the organisations data strategy and transformation roadmap and will become the organisations SME on data related projects and best practice. As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

* Plan and complete technical work on data driven projects.
* Create, optimise and maintain processes and systems in relation to all technical requirements.

In this role you will work largely remote, however you will be required to travel to the Central London office once or twice per month for project or data strategy meetings. A well-established organisation are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to coach and lead a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver CRM and marketing automation solutions for their "Customer Engagement" product stream, using Microsoft Azure and Dynamics tech stacks.

This is a permanent role, where you will be required to spend 2-3 days per week in their modern office in Surrey, and can spend the remaining time working from home.

In this role, you will demonstrate Agile principles and Engineering excellence, performing the role of Scrum Master for the team. You will ultimately enable the delivery of high-quality software products and solutions for "Customer Engagement" purposes, built on the Azure and Dynamics platforms. These solutions will aim to drive customer retention and improve customer experience, which is absolutely essential for this business.

This will involve developing close working relationships with your own team (including Devs, BA, QA etc.) key internal business stakeholders and marketing agencies, to enable the effective delivery of fit-for-purpose solutions.

This role would be well-suited to an experienced Software Engineering Manager with a natural curiosity and problem-solving mentality, who is driven to deliver the best possible solutions and outcomes for customers.

Requirements:

* Strong background in Agile Software Engineering - ideally including .NET C#, App Services and Azure API Management Services
* Experience leading and developing high-performing teams of skilled Software Engineers with excellent people management skills
* Experience of CRM application development and/or delivery of marketing automation solutions
* Experience with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 Service and Marketing would be highly desirable, but not essential
