    My client are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. They are a leading digital marketing agency in Europe. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who has a passion for Technology and Data Driven Applications. And are able to apply modern and evolving software development practices effectively and efficiently.


    Roles and Responsibilities of the role:



    • Able to effectively lead a software project from design to production including managing relevant team members

    • Functions as a Subject Matter Expert in Data Engineering for Tech Team and Data Specialist Hub

    • Works with internal/external stakeholders to gain feedback and improve our technology, processes and solutions.


    Requirements:



    • Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL as well as common Data Engineering tools (e.g. pandas, AirFlow, BigQuery, etc).

    • Strong understanding of Data Engineering best practices including ETL, data warehousing design and data modelling.

    • Understanding of distributed systems and their application to working with Big Data (e.g. single node)

    • High aptitude in leadership and planning
