Job description

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst of Dynamics 365 Power Platform who will analyze business requirements and develop software solutions that help the company achieve both strategic goals and operational requirements.

Essential Functions

* Collect business requirements through meetings and analysis of existing documentation.
* Understand and provide feedback to technical specification documents.
* Develop solutions including coding, testing, and deployment for MS Power Platform
* Work with external vendors.
* Write and modify technical and user documentation.
* Train users and IT staff in standard and custom developed functionality.
* Support the operational processes, e.g. software patches and upgrades, backup and restore, business continuity processes.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems
* Demonstrate proven success in developing complex business systems from collecting requirements from relevant stakeholders, technical specification, development, test and training.
* 5 + years of experience developing enterprise applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Document Automation.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
* Web application development experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
* Experience with core business processes such as CRM, document management, and workflows.
* Experience in development of interfaces between enterprise applications.
* Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures related to MS Power Platform and MS D365.
* Ability to understand, communicate on all levels in an organization, interpret client business processes and requirements.
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.

Job Title: Senior Accountant - Dynamics 365 F&O Expert
Location: Onsite - Brooklyn, NY

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Staff Accountant with deep hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) to join our growing finance team. This is a key role that blends strong accounting fundamentals with ERP system expertise. The ideal candidate will take the lead in training and supporting other accounting and finance team members in the effective use of D365 F&O, especially within Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and core financial operations.

This position offers a unique opportunity to grow into a Controller-level role, as you take ownership of systems, processes, and team development within a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the in-house expert on Dynamics 365 F&O for all accounting and finance-related functions.

Train and support accounting staff on best practices within the system, particularly in AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end processes.

Act as a functional lead for finance operations within F&O, helping to optimize workflows and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
*

Collaborate with leadership to develop and improve financial reporting using F&O tools.

Identify areas for automation or enhancement within the ERP to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

Assist in financial close activities and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), specifically within AP/AR and general accounting modules.
Experience in Business Central, Great Plains, or other ERP platforms will not be considered equivalent.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track a plus).

3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in AP/AR and general ledger.

Comfortable training and mentoring peers on ERP processes and functionality.

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
