The company is growing, and actively seeking to add to its award winning consultancy team with a functional consultant - focusing on the delivery of fresh Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects to a range of new/ existing customers.

    This role is fully home based, with the expectation of occasional on-site travel; project phase dependant.

    The opportunity would be a great fit for an established D365 BC consultant seeking a strong pipeline of interesting new projects. My client will also consider candidates who have implemented Business Central from end user perspective, and seeking to forge a career in partner based consulting.

    Skills and Qualifications

    * Experienced in the full cycle implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central - either as partner based functional consultant or within end user project team
    * Firm understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central fundamentals - exposure across BC modular base including financials, supply chain etc.
    * End to end functional project lifecycle skills, from analysis & design, through to go-live & continuous improvement
    * Excellent communication/ stakeholder engagement skills

    Role Overview:

    An Application Engineer H/F with an experience in a safety critical domain for our radar display solution



    Your environment

    As a member of a highly qualified team, you will participate in software specification and testing of our radar display solution. Automatic and manual testing has no secret for you, you are looking for a challenge in a complex technical environment.

    For this you are extremely rigorous, and you have a proven experience in the Air Traffic Management Domain, or in another safety critical domain, in the fields of requirements and tests with mission critical software.

    You will work autonomously in an Agile team and in continuous improvement spirit. A high amount of autonomy and personal commitment is necessary.

    Your mission

    * You create and maintain the application documentation: requirements (System and Software level) and associated test cases.
    * You review and test against the Specification and establish test traceability.
    * You test the application including the creation of test plans and reports.
    * You analyze and describe issues/bugs in our issues Database JIRA.
    * You synchronize and update the Test Results Management tool.
    * You perform formal system tests (Site Acceptance Test and Factory Acceptance Test).
    * You perform analysis of defects/incidents to find the root cause of problem.
    * You ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering teams as well as with customers.
    * You may contribute to development activities.





    Your profile

    * You have ideally 5 years of computing experience in the air traffic control domain or other areas with real-time and security requirements.
    * You have a high analytical capacity, and you can understand the end user needs to transcript them into software requirements for the Development Team or into your test cases.
    * You are organized with an ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively.
    * You are rigorous, and you have a taste for challenge to work in a dynamic environment with a good team spirit.
    * Fluent written and spoken English is required, German or French is an asset.
    * Professional experience in an agile or scaled agile environment is preferrable.
    * ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C standards are major advantages for this position.
    * Usage of tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is appreciated.
    * Test automation experience is a plus.
    * ATSEP certification is a plus.
