This is an opportunity to join a well‑established, high‑growth government supplier that's investing heavily in data, analytics, AI and digital transformation.

The business is moving away from siloed reporting towards a modern, insight‑led BI function and this role sits right at the centre of that journey. You'll have real influence, visibility at Director level, and the chance to shape how data is used across the entire organisation.

If you enjoy being close to the technology while working with senior stakeholders and want to play a key role in modernising BI within a regulated environment, this role ticks a lot of boxes.

You Will Work With:

* A centralised data & analytics team
* Senior business stakeholders across multiple functions, including HR
* The Director, providing regular BI insight and guidance
* Project teams driving process improvement and digital change
* Innovative initiatives including AI, Microsoft Fabric and onsite robotics collecting data

What Will Be Involved:

* Owning and evolving BI products across the organisation
* Gathering business insights and translating requirements into clear BI solutions
* Delivering impactful Power BI dashboards consolidating data from multiple sources
* Acting as Product Owner within Azure DevOps, managing backlogs and priorities
* Working very closely with BI developers, challenging, guiding and supporting delivery
* Driving the adoption of Microsoft Fabric and AI‑driven analytics
* Supporting data‑led decision making in a compliance‑heavy government supplier environment
* Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities to improve business processes through data

Benefits:

* Company car
* 5% bonus
* Hybrid working model (just 1 day onsite in Birmingham)
* Exposure to cutting‑edge BI, AI and data initiatives
* High‑visibility role with long‑term progression as the BI estate grows

Key Experience:

* 5+ years' experience in BI, analytics or data‑focused roles
* Strong business mindset with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
* Technical understanding of Azure, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
* Experience working closely with BI developers and data teams
* Comfortable operating as a Product Owner / BI Lead within Azure DevOps
* Experience in regulated, compliance‑led or public sector environments is highly desirable
