Role: Cryptography Analyst - Contract
Location: Hybrid - 60% office / 40% remote
Site: Knutsford
Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025, with extension
Security Clearance: BPSS required
Rate to SSC: £500/day
Engagement: PAYE via umbrella only

We are looking to speak to experienced Cryptography Analysts for a long-term engagement supporting enterprise-level cryptographic infrastructure. This is a hybrid role requiring at least two days per week onsite in Knutsford.

The focus is on cryptographic hardware and infrastructure - not software development. Candidates must have hands-on experience with HSM management and monitoring tools, as well as automation and scripting skills (Python or similar).

Key Responsibilities:

* HSM configuration, installation, and support (Thales, Entrust, Gemalto or equivalent)
* SSH key and certificate management
* Cryptographic key lifecycle management across IBM, Tandem, Unix platforms
* Incident and change management
* Maintaining audit trails and governance records
* Supporting cryptographic infrastructure and delivering to SLAs
* Out-of-hours support may be required
* Good experience with Python

Essential Skills:

* Strong background in cryptography or information security
* Hands-on HSM experience
* Proficiency in HSM monitoring tools
* Automation and coding skills (Python or similar)
* ITIL Foundation certification
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Strong stakeholder management and decision-making under pressure

Desirable Skills:

* Experience in IT security operations
* Knowledge of cryptographic standards and compliance
* Familiarity with SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA
* Unix/Windows OS skills
* Experience in change and release management

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PMO Analyst with advanced Power BI capabilities to join a global digital technology team driving transformation across a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects. This role sits within a central Portfolio Office and supports the delivery of strategic digital initiatives through data-driven insights, automation, and reporting excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with project delivery and business analysis teams to enhance portfolio reporting and dashboard development.
* Design and build Power BI dashboards for operational and executive-level decision-making.
