Job description

We are seeking a skilled Business Central Consultant with hands‑on experience in the construction industry to support, optimize, and extend our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. The ideal candidate understands the unique operational challenges of construction-job costing, project management, subcontractor handling, and field operations-and knows how to translate them into effective system solutions.

Experience with ProjectPro is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for construction workflows
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and system enhancements
* Support project accounting, job costing, equipment management, change orders, billing, and field operations processes
* Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and deliver best‑practice recommendations
* Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support to project managers, finance teams, and field personnel
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to integrate third‑party apps, including ProjectPro
* Assist with data migration, testing, and system upgrades

Qualifications

* Proven experience implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV)
* Background in the construction industry - strong understanding of job costing and project financials
* Experience with ProjectPro is a major plus
* Strong communication, problem‑solving, and business analysis skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field preferred

Azure Platform Engineer - Fully Remote - £550/pd Outside IR35

My client, a well‑established and highly respected Data & AI partner in the UK, is seeking an experienced Databricks Platform Engineer to join their team on a 6‑month outside IR35 engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to support enterprise‑level data platform initiatives while working 100% remotely.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising a scalable Databricks platform within Azure. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Azure platform engineering, hands‑on Databricks experience, and proven expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.

Key Responsibilities

* Build, maintain, and optimise Azure-hosted Databricks environments.
* Develop robust platform automation using Terraform.
* Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the data platform.
* Work closely with architects, data engineers, and DevOps specialists.
* Provide best‑practice guidance for Databricks operations and Azure platform engineering.
* Support platform enhancements, monitoring, and CI/CD improvements.

Required Experience

To be considered, you must have:

* Azure Platform Engineering experience in enterprise or consultancy environments.
* Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks, including workspace configuration, clusters, jobs, and security.
* Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
* Solid understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and platform operations.
* Experience working with modern DevOps tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Contract Data Engineer & Analyst - £400/pd

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer / Data Analyst contractor to provide hybrid support across data engineering and analysis during a team refresh. This engagement is initially for 3 months, with a strong focus on maintaining business‑as‑usual reporting and delivering a key migration from Excel to SQL / Power BI.

This role requires a self‑sufficient, trusted contractor who can quickly understand an existing data estate, work confidently with limited documentation, and make sound recommendations when improving or stabilising solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

* Deliver ad‑hoc, priority reporting requests as needed
