About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of data strategy, architecture, and implementation, ensuring a robust, scalable, and secure platform. Your expertise will drive business insights and enable a data-driven culture within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Development & Design - Architect and implement customized data solutions on Azure, Snowflake, dbt, and Qlik.
* Data Strategy & Architecture - Build a future-proof data ecosystem, ensuring scalability and performance.
* Collaboration with Partners - Work closely with external consultants and operations teams for seamless project execution.
* Quality & Optimization - Implement best practices for data security, performance, and quality.
* Consulting & Support - Guide internal teams on best practices and foster a data-driven mindset.

What We're Looking For

* 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
* Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
* Experience in banking, research, or similar industries is a plus.
* Strong expertise in databases & cloud-based architectures (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ELT/ETL processes (Data Factory, dbt).
* Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI).
* A mix of Software Engineering & Data Engineering experience is welcome (e.g., 4 years in each field).

Language Requirements:

* Scandinavian (Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish) - Minimum C1
* English - Minimum B2
