Project Manager/ Project Coordinator

My client, an SI company with HQ in Hong Kong but business across the regional, is now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Project Manager / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate will have solid project management experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

* Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects from initiation through delivery
* Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines
* Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with deadlines, budget, and quality standards
* Coordinate internal resources, external vendors, and stakeholders
* Prepare project documentation, status reports, risk assessments, and meeting minutes
* Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
* Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
* Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices
* Support change management processes and project governance

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline
* 3-5 years of experience in IT project management or project coordination
* PMP / PMI certification preferred (or equivalent project management certification)
* Proven experience managing or supporting IT system implementations or technology projects
* Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or equivalent)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage
