Business Central Developer Admin - Austin, TX - $130k - Remote

We are seeking a Business Central Developer Admin to play a key role in both advancing the platform technically and ensuring it delivers real impact for business users on the ground.

Position Overview

This is a hybrid technical-functional role with a 70/30 split between development and functional support. You'll be responsible for extending and optimizing Business Central while also acting as a go-to partner for stakeholders across operations, finance, and supply chain.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions and seeing them through in a real-world environment - especially within a mission-driven organization focused on sustainability and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

Development & Technical Delivery

* Design, develop, and maintain AL extensions, customizations, and integrations in Business Central
* Build and support integrations with third-party systems across operations and logistics
* Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis
* Manage deployments, version control, and releases using Azure DevOps
* Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical issues
* Stay current on Microsoft wave releases, updates, and BC roadmap enhancements

Functional Support & Business Analysis

* Provide hands-on end-user support and troubleshooting within Business Central
* Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Support core workflows across:

* Order-to-cash
* Procure-to-pay
* Sales and purchasing
* Assembly and operational processes

* Assist with specialized workflows such as equipment and asset-related processes
* Lead training sessions and create documentation to drive adoption
* Engage on-site with business teams as needed to ensure alignment between system capability and operational needs

What You Bring

* 4-5+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central development experience
* Strong experience building AL extensions and custom solutions
* Proficiency with:

* Visual Studio Code
* SQL Server
* Azure DevOps

* Solid understanding of core BC modules (sales, purchasing, operations, inventory)
* Experience supporting end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay)
* Ability to gather requirements and independently deliver solutions
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills - comfortable working with both technical teams and business users

Nice to Have

* Experience in asset-heavy, logistics, recycling, manufacturing, or distribution environments
* Familiarity with rental, asset tracking, or equipment workflows
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification
