Business Development Manager
Home-Based - Remote with travel to client site as required (UK only)
Job Description:
We are partnered with an established MS Partner who are looking to add a Business Development Manager to promote their services, drive sales across Dynamics-based ERP & CRM Solutions.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for owning multiple campaigns to varying organisations in-line with the company's objective.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of new business opportunities, working autonomously while coordinating with colleagues across the organisation who support activities such as demos, proposals, events and webinars.
* Lead cross‑functional bid teams to produce high‑quality written submissions for formal evaluation processes.
* Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in D365, using it to monitor engagement, track issues, measure progress and manage a healthy pipeline across Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP and Power Platform prospects.
* Identify, nurture and progress potential clients, collaborating closely with marketing to align outreach and targeted campaigns.
* Communicate confidently with stakeholders at every level of a business, including senior leadership.
Skills/Experience:
* Ability to take charge of complex sales cycles, steer opportunities from initial engagement through to close, and coordinate seamlessly with technical, marketing and operational teams to deliver a unified customer experience.
* Strong capability in using enterprise CRM platforms to monitor client interactions, maintain accurate records, analyse activity trends and manage a diverse pipeline across cloud, CRM, ERP and data‑driven solution areas.
* Confident communicator who can build rapport and influence decision‑makers at every organisational level, from senior executives to operational teams, adapting messaging to suit varied audiences.
* Experience leading cross‑departmental bid efforts, producing compelling written submissions, and ensuring documentation meets the standards required for formal procurement and evaluation processes.
* Deep understanding of cloud technologies and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, with the ability to work effectively with technology partners, contribute to thought‑leadership content, and translate market insights into meaningful sales activity.
