SQL Server Developer

Salary: Up to £50,000

I am working with a specialist technology services provider that is currently recruiting for a SQL Server Developer to join their growing remote team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

* Diagnosing and resolving SQL Server performance issues across queries, indexes and execution plans
* Tuning stored procedures, user‑defined functions and ETL processes to improve scalability and speed
* Working closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver efficient technical solutions
* Promote performance best practices and support other members of the team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Strong experience with SQL Server, with a focus on performance tuning
* Deep understanding of indexing and execution plans
* Experience using PowerShell for automation
* Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL databases
