Business Analyst - London - Hybrid - Up to £120,000

I am supporting a leading global investment bank at the heart of trade data and post-trade transformation. This is a rare opportunity to work on cross-asset trade lifecycle systems, regulatory reporting and data architecture. You will be part of a team driving strategic change, solving complex trade data challenges, and influencing senior stakeholder.



You will work with

* Technology, Operations, Risk, Finance, and Regulatory teams across multiple asset classes
* Complex trade lifecycle data across derivatives, securities financing, and post-trade functions
* Front-to-back systems, trade events, and regulatory reporting processes
* Data mapping, lineage, traceability, and control frameworks
* Digital and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risk
* Senior stakeholders, guiding them with clear, actionable trade data insights

Key experience

* 8+ years in Investment Banking or Capital Markets, ideally with cross-asset exposure
* Deep understanding of trade lifecycle and post-trade processes (settlement, confirmation, finance)
* Experience with derivatives, securities financing, and regulatory reporting
* Strong data mapping, lineage, and traceability experience
* Familiarity with FpML, ISO 20022, XML messaging standards
* Strong SQL and analytical skills
* Experience operating at VP-level with senior stakeholders and risk-conscious programmes
* Bonus: experience with regulatory remediation, control frameworks, or data governance
