Senior Product Manager - Fraud & Risk SaaS
A leading technology business with deep roots in the telecoms industry is seeking a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a market-leading SaaS product used by tens of thousands of customers worldwide. Over the last decade, the company has evolved into a SaaS-first organisation, with products trusted by some of the largest retail banks. Now, the business is scaling rapidly and looking to expand into new industries such as insurance and airlines.
This role offers the chance to join a high-growth, customer-centric organisation at a pivotal stage, with clear potential to double or even triple revenue across this product portfolio.
The Role
The Senior Product Manager will take responsibility for a flagship fraud prevention and risk management API product used extensively in call centres. Working closely with a cross-functional team of 5-6 engineers, including a Principal Engineer, and a dedicated research function, this person will define what needs to be built, align the roadmap with customer needs, and help the product scale into new markets.
The position requires a blend of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and customer-facing skills. This is not a role for someone who only wants to manage a tidy backlog of features - it's an opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, can build structure where it's missing, and is motivated to grow and commercialise SaaS products at scale.
Key Responsibilities
*
Own the roadmap for a high-performing SaaS fraud/risk product.
*
Translate complex, ambiguous customer needs into clear product direction.
*
Work with engineering and research to ensure product quality, performance, and scalability.
*
Explore and scope opportunities for expansion into adjacent industries.
*
Use commercial insight to drive revenue growth, margins, and pricing strategies.
*
Represent the voice of the customer in all product decisions.
*
Provide basic data insights through SQL queries and database analysis.
Skills + Experience
Essential:
*
Proven experience in fraud, risk, or related domains (ideally in financial services, payments, or call centres).
*
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to distil needs into product features.
*
Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments.
*
Technical literacy - able to query databases and discuss APIs/latency with engineers.
*
Commercial mindset - experience with pricing, margins, and scaling SaaS revenue.
*
Track record of building process and structure in fast-moving product organisations.
Desirable:
*
Experience with call centres, insurance, or airline risk models.
*
Exposure to fraud detection technologies and risk coding products.
