    Datacenter Deployment Lead

    We're hiring on behalf of a leading client for a Datacenter Deployment Lead to support the rollout of cutting-edge GPU infrastructure. This is a key role for someone who thrives in high-performance environments and has a passion for datacenter excellence.

    In this position, you'll lead the physical deployment of large-scale datacenter hardware-from initial design to final installation. You'll ensure everything is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability, supporting infrastructure that powers AI and compute-intensive applications.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Design and implement rack layouts for servers, GPUs, and switches
    *

    Review and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for performance and compatibility
    *

    Plan and manage structured cabling, including routes, lengths, and procurement
    *

    Ensure installations meet datacenter constraints (power, cooling, weight)
    *

    Assist with the setup and initial configuration of network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches)
    *

    Serve as the on-site technical lead during deployments, resolving issues on the ground
    *

    Develop and maintain deployment documentation and standards

    What You Bring

    *

    Deep knowledge of structured and fiber cabling (AOC, DAC, optics)
    *

    Strong hands-on experience with datacenter hardware and networking systems
    *

    Proven ability to assess and optimize BOMs
    *

    Solid track record of leading datacenter deployments
    *

    Familiarity with CMDB tools like Netbox
    *

    Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

    Bonus Skills

    *

    Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible)

    Qualifications
