The Role
As a D365 Finance Architect / Senior Finance Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the finance stream from discovery and solution design through to implementation and post-go-live optimisation.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges, define best-practice finance processes, and design scalable solutions leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead finance-focused solution design workshops and business process discussions.
* Define solution architecture for D365 Finance implementations and transformations.
* Provide expert guidance across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
* Drive fit-gap analysis and recommend industry best practices.
* Support project delivery teams with functional leadership and architectural oversight.
* Mentor and guide consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting, data migration, and solution design.
* Act as a senior stakeholder-facing consultant, providing strategic advice and governance throughout delivery.
Key Requirements
* Extensive experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations projects.
* Strong functional expertise across core Finance processes within D365 F&O.
* Proven experience in a Finance Architect, Lead Consultant, or Senior Functional Consultant capacity.
* Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable solution designs.
* Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working across multiple implementation lifecycles.
* Knowledge of legacy AX versions would be advantageous.
* Fluent English communication skills; Swedish is beneficial but not essential.
