    Data Engineer - Salesforce Integration Specialist

    We're supporting a leading Salesforce Partner on a confidential end-client engagement and are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Salesforce integration expertise.

    This role will be focused on building and supporting data integration solutions with Salesforce at the centre of the architecture, connecting multiple business systems and data sources through scalable, reliable pipelines.

    The Role

    You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data flows into and out of Salesforce, helping to ensure business-critical data is available, accurate and synchronised across the wider technology estate.

    Working alongside Salesforce Consultants, Architects and technical stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering complex integration solutions and enabling seamless connectivity between platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Build and maintain data pipelines integrating Salesforce with internal and third-party systems
    * Design ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation and synchronisation
    * Develop and support API-led integrations and data services
    * Deliver batch and real-time data integration solutions
    * Ensure data quality, governance and integrity across integrated systems
    * Work closely with Salesforce teams to support platform enhancements and ongoing projects
    * Troubleshoot integration issues and optimise performance
    * Contribute to integration architecture and best practices

    Required Experience

    * Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
    * Proven experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems and applications
    * Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
    * Strong SQL and data transformation skills
    * Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
    * Strong understanding of integration patterns and data architecture
    * Experience handling complex datasets from multiple sources
    * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

    Highly Desirable

    * MuleSoft
    * Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Platform Events)
    * Experience with middleware and iPaaS platforms
    * Python or other scripting languages
    * Data modelling and master data management
    * Event-driven and real-time integration architectures
    * Previous experience working within a Salesforce consultancy or partner environment

    Qualifications & Experience

    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    o SQL
    o Azure Databricks
    * Experience designing event-driven and microservices architectures.

    We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Architect to join a high-profile programme delivering complex data and analytics capabilities within a secure and regulated environment.

    This role will be responsible for defining and governing end-to-end data solutions across cloud, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains. The successful candidate will combine strong technical architecture expertise with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, provide architectural assurance, and support successful programme delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Design end-to-end data solutions that align with business, technical, security, and operational requirements
    * Produce high-quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, architecture decision records, and options assessments
    * Define current-state, target-state, and transition architectures, including phased delivery roadmaps
    * Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and operationally supportable
    * Provide architectural leadership throughout delivery, supporting technical teams during implementation
    * Participate in design reviews, governance forums, and architectural assurance activities
    * Work closely with engineering, security, and programme stakeholders to ensure architecture standards are met
    * Support architecture documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition planning

    Required Experience

    * Proven experience in a Data Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, or similar architecture-focused role

    * Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions
    * Experience producing detailed architecture documentation for governance and assurance purposes

    Technical Skills
