    Data Visualisation Lead - Watford - £40-50k

    An organisation operating within the field marketing sector are currently looking to recruit a Data Visualisation lead to head up the implementation and use of Power BI internally and for client accounts.

    In this role you will become the Power BI SME working within a small data team whilst also providing line management to two more junior data analysts. In this role you will work with stakeholders from across the organisation as well as working directly with clients.

    Longer term this role offers the opportunity to lead on building out a significant data infrastructure with automated reporting capabilities utilising the latest technology as well as growing your data team.

    To be a good fit for this role you should have the following skills:

    * Very strong experience with Power BI - be confident creating reports and dashboards catered to a variety of different audiences.
    * Strong data analysis experience
    * Strong stakeholder management experience
    * Be confident deriving insights and delivering these to stakeholders and clients
    * Line management experience
    * Excellent communication skills

    This is a role with a pretty wide scope and the opportunity to really make an impact within the organisation. This role offers a starting salary of up to £50,000 and the opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days per week.

    In this role you will be joining a data team of around 6 heads within a well established IT team of 30 members of staff who share a fantastic team culture. The organisation that you will be joining has a real focus on utilising data analytics to make informed business decisions. As such, this is an extremely important hire.

    In this role your primary responsibility will be to own Power BI Data visualisation. This is an end-to-end role where you will work as an internal consultant to gather requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders, access and model the required data, build extensive and interactive Power BI dashboards, and then work with stakeholders to derive insights which recommend commercial decisions. This is a highly technical role which also has a strong commercial focus and is extremely people-facing. You will work with stakeholders at all levels of the business, including C-suite, and be essential in assisting the organisation in their data journey.

    The longer-term vision for this role is to utilise Data Science, Machine Learning and AI technologies and concepts to allow for further data-driven decision making.

    To be a good fit for this role you should have the following skills:

    * Strong experience with DAX
    * Very experienced in data modelling
    * Excellent communication skills

    You will be joining an established Norwegian company in Oslo who deliver CRM, software, and analytics solutions to customers in a range of domains including finance, media, and energy, along with many public sector organisations

    As an early member of the data department, you will play an integral part in the decision-making process and the future of this team

    In your day-to-day, you will work alongside customers to assess their current situation, and gather data & requirements to formulate a strategy. You will work closely with customers in both the public and private sector to help them understand their data - we work with companies such as Eco Online, Amedia, and the Norwegian Mapping Authority
