We specialise in harnessing the power of data to drive better business decisions by creating new & modern solutions for data extraction, processing and visualisation

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a junior data engineer to join the team!

You will be joining an established data environment with engineers, BI developers and analysts, playing a crucial role in building & expanding our data infrastructure

Your role will primarily involve building, maintaining, and optimising data pipelines, ensuring that data is readily available, accurate, and secure

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with senior data engineers to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines
* Ensure the quality and integrity of data through data cleansing and transformation processes
* Work with various data storage systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases
* Assist in building and maintaining ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
* Troubleshoot and optimise data pipelines for performance and efficiency

We are looking for you to bring:

* A strong academic background in engineering, computer science, or similar
* Some knowledge of SQL/Python
* Knowledge of data storage and database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
* Basic understanding of ETL processes and data integration
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

We are building a new Test department to work alongside our developers at our office in Drammen, and are looking for a leader to take ownership and grow the environment further!

Alongside strategic responsibilities and growing a future team around you, we are looking for you who can work with:

* Leading the planning, execution, and management of testing activities for client projects, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
* Working closely with project managers, business analysts, and developers to define test requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations.
* Developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage and adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
* Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Managing test environments, tools, and resources to facilitate efficient and effective testing activities, including the selection and implementation of appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
* Analysing test results and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimisation, and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
* Collaborating with clients to understand their testing needs and requirements, and proactively proposing innovative solutions and best practices to address their challenges and achieve their goals.

We are looking for you to bring:

* Bachelor's degree in an IT or engineering related subject
* Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including test automation, performance testing, and agile testing methodologies.
* Experience with test management tools
* Previous experience in a role where you have taken on leadership or management responsibilities (either for projects or people)
* Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with users and internal teams
* We require candidates to be comfortable communicating in both Norwegian & English

We are looking for a data engineer in Oslo!

With over 100 years experience in transportation, construction, operations and maintenance, you will be joining a growing team who are making the first moves towards digitalisation in a very traditional industry

The platform you help build, and subsequent features & insights available, have the ability to impact how an entire industry operates

All teams across the business are committed to this goal, and there has been a lot of engagement as it makes processes easier for stakeholders and customers alike

Longer-term this digital transformation will expand into adding data science / ML capabilities into the team, and allow for automated decision making

You will initially be joining a small but growing internal data team, where you can have the flexibility to work cross functionally and to explore & grow with a variety of day-to-day tasks.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

* Helping to build the data platform on Azure
* Orchestrating data from various sources - cleaning, transformation and making it useful to users
* Engineering and implementing scalable systems and data pipelines
* Communicating with stakeholders across the business to understand processes, value drivers, and capture business requirements

We are looking for you to have the following skills & experiences:

* 2+ years' experience in a similar role
* Experience working on Cloud (preference for Azure)
* Experience building ETL pipelines - orchestrating raw data from different systems
* Experience with Big Data technologies is advantageous
