You Will Work With

* Designing and building cloud-based data platforms using medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
* Developing batch and near real-time data pipelines
* Engineering scalable pipelines using Python and PySpark on Databricks and/or Snowflake
* Integrating data from PAS, claims systems, broker platforms, third-party providers, and market feeds
* Ensuring high standards of data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and auditability
* Working closely with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and Regulatory stakeholders
* Carrying out code reviews, setting engineering best practice, and mentoring junior engineers
* Supporting CI/CD pipelines and Git-based delivery models
* Contributing to modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted software development, in a governed way

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Architect to support the design and delivery of modern Azure‑based data solutions within a large, highly regulated organisation operating in the public and professional standards sector. This is not a delivery‑only Architect role.

We are looking for a senior, commercially aware Microsoft Data Architect with deep expertise across the Microsoft data stack - ideally Microsoft Fabric - to play a key role in shaping solutions, building POCs and supporting pre‑sales activity as the practice continues to grow.

You'll sit close to sales and senior stakeholders, owning solution design early in the lifecycle: running discovery workshops, designing modern data platforms, preparing and presenting POCs and helping clients understand how Fabric and the wider Microsoft ecosystem can support their analytics, AI and data strategy.
