    Overview

    We're looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a growing software development team working on a range of enterprise business applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern Microsoft technologies, developing scalable solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.

    You'll be involved in designing, developing and maintaining business-critical systems, while contributing to new product development and the ongoing enhancement of existing platforms. The role offers the chance to work with modern development practices, Azure technologies and AI-assisted development tools within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Design, develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
    * Build and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with third-party systems.
    * Develop cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
    * Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through to deployment and support.
    * Troubleshoot and resolve issues within live production environments.
    * Collaborate with developers, analysts and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
    * Take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    * Produce clear technical documentation and maintain coding standards.
    * Utilise modern development tools, including AI-assisted technologies, to improve productivity and code quality.

    About You

    We're looking for a proactive developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering robust software solutions.

    You should be comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative development team, with a genuine interest in learning new technologies and continuously improving development practices.

    You'll have strong analytical skills and be confident evaluating technical solutions while applying sound engineering principles.

    Experience Required

    * Minimum of 5 years' commercial experience developing with .NET and C#.
    * Experience developing enterprise-level business applications.
    * Strong experience building and integrating APIs.
    * Experience developing cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure.
    * Experience working across both cloud-hosted and virtualised environments.
    * Experience using source control and modern DevOps practices.
    * Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.

    My client is an established Microsoft partner, with a strong reputation in their specific field, and established customer base. They are actively seeking an experienced Dynamics NAV/ D365 Business Central developer to get involved in several large scale development projects in 2026 and beyond.

    This hands on, innovative role provides the chance to build on D365 BC development experience in a pragmatic, forward thinking environment - playing a pivotal role in my clients technical solution development, hands on AL programming and technical design.

    Location

    This role is fully home based, with very occasional on-site travel.

    Responsibilities will include:

    * AL Extensions/ C/AL programming across Dynamics NAV/ 365 BC
    * End to end technical life cycle tasks, and bespoke module development
    * Back end code review/ 3rd line support troubleshooting
    * Integration projects with third party solutions
