    Project Manager - Tamworth - £45K

    Nigel Frank are working exclusively with a market-leading organisation in the electrical and manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced and proactive Project Manager. This business is undergoing exciting transformation, including large-scale ERP/WMS implementations, and is seeking a motivated professional to help drive forward a portfolio of critical internal initiatives.

    As Project Manager, you'll be a key part of a growing Project Management Office (PMO), reporting directly to senior leadership and working cross-functionally to ensure the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of complex projects. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to projects that enhance both operational efficiency and business growth.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships, and delivering end-to-end project success in a flexible and collaborative setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities in partnership with the Group Project Manager and key stakeholders.
    * Monitor progress against time lines and budgets, identifying and resolving issues proactively to avoid delays or overspend.
    * Create and maintain robust documentation including business cases, scope documents, detailed project plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
    * Act as the communication hub for project teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and accountability.
    * Track project resources and costs, producing reports that support data-driven decision-making.
    * Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth resolution of issues.
    * Drive the implementation of project management best practices and contribute to continuous process improvement.
    * Manage multiple projects across functional and geographical boundaries.

    Essential Skills & Experience:

    * Proven experience in project management with a successful track record in delivering cross-functional business initiatives.
    * PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management qualification.
    * Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
    * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (written and verbal).
    * Able to work independently and take initiative in managing smaller phases of larger projects.
    * Experienced in producing high-quality project documentation.
    * Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office 365.
    * Professional telephone manner and experience in client-facing roles.
    * Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
    * Full UK Driving Licence.
    * Understanding of basic data privacy and security principles.

    Desirable:

    * Experience delivering ERP or WMS implementation projects.
    * Previous involvement in multi-site or cross-functional project environments.

    A leading UK-based professional services firm is undergoing a major digital transformation and is seeking an experienced Enterprise Technical Architect to lead the evolution of its data and cloud architecture.

    With a growing footprint through both hiring and acquisitions, the organisation is consolidating its technology platforms across newly acquired businesses. This is a multi-year program with strategic importance, and this role will be central to shaping the data and technology strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.

    Role Overview

    *

    Assess and document the current-state data landscape, including on-premises, cloud, and legacy systems.
    *

    Develop and deliver a unified data architecture strategy that aligns with broader cloud and application strategies.
    *

    Lead data modernisation initiatives, such as:

    *

    Migrating SSIS to Azure Data Factory (ADF)
    *

    Replacing SSRS with Power BI

    *

    Drive improvements in data flow, quality, accessibility, and governance across the business.
    *

    Help position the organisation for advanced analytics and AI enablement.
    *

    Work hands-on with engineering teams where needed - this is both a strategic and technical role.

    Ideal Candidate

    *

    Extensive experience in enterprise-level architecture roles, particularly in data and cloud transformation.
    *

    Deep understanding of modern data platforms, cloud services (Azure preferred), and legacy integration.
    *

    Experience with tools such as ADF, SSIS, Power BI, SQL Server, and related technologies.
    *

    Ability to work across departments, manage stakeholder expectations, and provide clear technical leadership.
    *

    Comfortable in fast-paced environments undergoing change due to growth and acquisition.
    *

    Industry experience in legal or professional services is not required.

    I am working a large professional services company who are currently investing in a large technology transformation project and are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their team. This well-established business have recently acquired other businesses within the same industry and will be working to integrate systems and data together.

    As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas

    * Design, shape and implement the overall company data strategy
    * Design scalable, secure, and AI-ready data platforms that integrate cross-functional systems and data sources.
    * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data architecture with strategic goals and operational needs.
    * Lead the development of data models, pipelines, and standards to support advanced analytics and reporting.

    To be successful in the role you will have

    A professional services firm who are scaling rapidly through acquisition, are looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to join their team in Stoke on Trent as they embark on a major transformation.

    With ambitious growth plans, you'll join during phase 1 of a multi-year strategy to unify and modernise their data, cloud, and tech set-up, including the move from on-prem legacy systems to the cloud (which will most likely be Azure).

    Reporting into their new CIO/CTO, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing their enterprise-wide data strategy - requiring visionary thinking, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and also brilliant hands-on technical ability.

    Please note this role is fully office-based, 5 days a week in Stoke on Trent, in line with their highly collaborative and close-knit culture. They are able to pay for accomodation if you don't live close enough to commute on a daily basis.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    * Assessing the current data estate across on-prem, cloud, and legacy systems
    * Designing and implementing a scalable, future-proof data architecture
    * Leading the migration from legacy tools (e.g., SSIS, SSRS) to modern platforms like Azure Data Factory and Power BI
    * Collaborating across cloud, tech, and data teams to align strategies
    * Enabling the business to become AI-ready by optimising data flows and governance
    * Getting hands-on to deliver your strategy - this isn't just a whiteboard role!

    Experience Required:

    * Proven experience as an Enterprise Data Architect in a complex, multi-system environment
    * Strong technical background with the ability to roll up your sleeves when needed
    * Experience with Azure (or cloud-agnostic mindset)
    * Deep understanding of data integration, modernisation, and governance
    * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

    This is a permanent role, and offers a salary of up to £120,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.
