    A specialist reinsurance broker are looking for a Power BI enthusiast to join their growing team in Central London - hybrid working, with 2-3 days per week in the office.

    The business is relatively "new" to the market, meaning they have no legacy systems, and they are incredibly digitally driven - they truly are a modern broker built for today's world, with incredibly forward-thinking working practices.

    Working within the Data team, you will lead on the end-to-end delivery of insightful Power BI reporting solutions for various stakeholders on a global scale. This will involve scoping and gathering requirements, developing the solution itself, and then delivering actionable business insights.

    So whilst this is a very technical role, it will also involve lots of stakeholder engagement, and would be well-suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    You'll also get involved in Data Engineering projects - they're currently operating on an Azure Data Platform, with plans to move to a multi-cloud platform using Google Cloud later this year - offering the chance to broaden your skills with new and emerging technologies!

    Requirements :

    * Excellent Power BI development experience with use of DAX
    * Power BI administration experience
    * SQL / T-SQL and data modelling skills

    * Some Data Engineering experience such as ETL
    * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    Lead Data Scientist - Consultancy

    A small and rapidly growing Consultancy are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join their expanding team - this is a hybrid role, requiring around 2-3 days per week either in the office or on client site, depending on requirements.

    Many of their clients are in the Public Sector, meaning you must be eligible for SC Clearance in order to apply for this role.

    In this role, you will lead on client projects and provide them with subject matter expertise - you'll proactively identify opportunities for data science to be used to help solve their unique challenges, and will action this appropriately.

    This will involve working with varied data sources, and designing and implementing various data science and machine learning techniques and algorithms, both on-premises and on the cloud, depending on what's best for each particular client.

    You'll communicate your findings and insight to the client, getting involved in presentations to uncover the "story" the data is telling, and therefore what action can be taken.

    This role would be well-suited to someone who has experience (or is keen to get experience) in a client-facing environment, and who enjoys the challenge of working on technically demanding and diverse projects.

    Requirements

    * Experience leading on data science projects
    * Experience working on cloud-based infrastructure e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP
    * Extensive coding skills in languages such as Python and SQL
    * Experience working with various forms of data (e.g. structured, unstructured; text, time-series and image) and appropriately modelling these
    * Experience with various statistical-based techniques to uncover data insight
    * Experience with Data Engineering e.g. building data pipelines
    * Experience developing machine learning algorithms
    * Excellent communication and requirements gathering skills
    * Eligibility for SC Clearance

    Databricks Data Engineer

    I am working with a data driven Microsoft partnered consultancy who are looking for a Databricks Data Engineer to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest Microsoft technologies with a focus on projects on Databricks implementations.

    You will join a team at the centre of a number of data-driven projects where you will be responsible for the design, development and creation of data solutions. You will work on the full end-to-end product lifecycle from platform design to insights creation.

    As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas

    * Design, develop and maintain data pipelines that are responsible for the ingestion and transformation of data between different sources
    * Create and develop data models
    * Development of cloud data platforms solutions

    To be successful in the role you will have

    * Solid experience designing and delivering data solutions focused on Databricks
    * Strong ETL experience with tools such as ADF or SSIS
    * Experience working with Azure technologies - Synapse, Fabric, Data Lake
    * Knowledge of data architecture principles and data modelling

    Power BI Developer

    We have partnered with a specialist re-insurance broker based in London who are currently going through a period of sustainable growth and are looking to add a Power BI Developer to the team. The business are investing heavily within their tech function which will help them with their overall goal of business growth.

    You will be responsible for the development and creation of insightful reports that will enable senior leadership to make data-driven decisions. You will become primary point of contact for senior management within operations, where you will discuss all of their reporting needs.

    The business are currently operating on an Azure Data Platform, but as it continues to grow so will the need to develop this platform. They are currently at the beginning of a project to migrate some data to GCP and you will be able to gain exposure and aid the Data Engineers on certain elements of this project. This is a fantastic opportunity where not only could you add real benefit to the business, but where you could also rapidly develop your own skill set to become a well-rounded data professional.

    As part of this role, you will be responsible for -

    * Design and develop analytical solutions utilising Power BI
    * Culture effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
