Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development of computer vision algorithms for innovative healthcare robotics solutions.
* Optimize and integrate vision systems for resource-constrained IoT platforms.
* Influence workflows for RGB data acquisition and processing.
* Stay at the forefront of advancements in computer vision and apply them to real-world applications.

Skills and Experience You'll Bring

* 5+ years of professional experience in computer vision, with a preference for candidates with 10+ years of expertise.
* Strong knowledge of imaging techniques such as edge detection, segmentation, and feature extraction.
* Proficiency in Python and/or C++, with hands-on experience in algorithm development and optimization.
* Expertise in frameworks such as TensorFlow and tools like OpenCV.
* Experience with AI models for object detection (e.g., R-CNN) and IoT hardware platforms.
* Advanced understanding of video/image capture and analysis pipelines.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* A Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

A small firm with a consultant average of 15 years' experience founded in the 2010's that get involved in end-to-end projects and allow employees to have high earning potential. Using all major cloud tech such as Azure and AWS, balancing business and data. They are a fun and relaxed company with no bureaucracy that value the balance of work and social life.

This job is for a senior data engineer/architect who will be hands on with the project.

Client is offering standard Finnish benefits, lunch vouchers, culture vouchers and bike benefit for employees.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced data engineer/architect that has a working understanding of any of the cloud platforms. Some other data engineering skills and project management skills could be beneficial for the role. Candidates must be fluent English but working in Finland means that Finnish would be helpful too.
