Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Internal Controls Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Overview:
As an Internal Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our client's operations within the Oil & Energy industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work both in the office and remotely, providing flexibility and fostering a conducive work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Controls Oversight: Develop and implement robust internal control procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial and operational processes.

Compliance Management: Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure the company's adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and implement mitigation strategies.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and drive efficiency in internal control mechanisms.

Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.

Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to staff on internal control policies and procedures to ensure a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in Internal Controls Management.
Expertise in Dynamics NAV is essential.
Strong understanding of the Oil & Energy industry and associated regulatory frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications such as CISA or CIA are highly desirable.
