Senior .NET / Azure Consultant

Start: ASAP / August | Hybrid 2-3 days/week onsite | Swedish required

About the assignment

A leading Swedish medtech company is looking for an experienced consultant to join their digital platform team on a 9-12 month engagement. You'll work primarily on backend systems built in .NET and hosted on Azure, contributing to connected health platforms that underpin real-time patient data processing, clinical device integration, and field service management. There is also scope for frontend contributions in React / Next.js.

What you'll be working on

* Designing and developing backend services and APIs in .NET (C#)
* Building and maintaining Azure-hosted infrastructure using services such as Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Hub, and Cosmos DB
* Integrating data streams from clinical devices and connected health hardware
* Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices via Azure DevOps
* Occasional frontend work in React / Next.js to deliver end-to-end features
* Leveraging AI tooling - Claude, GitHub Copilot - for accelerated development

What we're looking for

* Strong hands-on .NET / C# backend development experience
* Solid Azure platform knowledge across compute, messaging, and data services
* Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time data pipelines
* Experience with Azure DevOps - pipelines, repos, boards
* Comfortable contributing to React / Next.js frontends when needed
* Experience with or genuine interest in AI-assisted development (Claude, Copilot)
* Fluent Swedish - you'll work with Swedish-speaking stakeholders and teams day to day
* Able to commit to 2-3 days per week onsite in Stockholm

Nice to have

* Background in medtech, life sciences, or regulated healthcare environments
* Familiarity with medical device data standards or clinical data integration
* Exposure to real-time data processing or high-availability system design
