Senior Dynamics NAV & Square POS Integration Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Dynamics NAV & Retail POS Integration Consultant to lead the integration of Square POS with our Dynamics NAV 2016 / LS Retail environment.
Our organization is expanding its retail operations through a venue partner that currently operates Square as its point-of-sale platform. We need an experienced consultant who can design and deliver a reliable integration between Square and NAV, ensuring NAV remains the source of truth for master data while allowing Square to process retail transactions seamlessly.
This is a hands-on delivery role for a senior technical consultant who can independently lead discovery, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.

Responsibilities
* Lead the technical design and implementation of the Square-to-NAV integration
* Work directly with Square technical resources to understand APIs, capabilities, and limitations
* Build integrations supporting:
o NAV master data flowing to Square, including items, variants, pricing, barcodes, and inventory
o Square transactions flowing back into NAV, including sales, returns, refunds, discounts, taxes, tenders, and gift card activity
* Integrate with existing NAV staging tables and validation processes
* Design reliable integration workflows including:
o Error handling
o Duplicate transaction prevention
o Retry and recovery processes
o Reconciliation between Square and NAV
* Support testing, production deployment, troubleshooting, and stabilization
* Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer

Required Qualifications
* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016
* Strong C/AL development experience
* Experience working with heavily customized NAV environments
* Proven experience designing and delivering production REST API integrations
* Experience integrating NAV with retail POS, ecommerce, order management, or similar transactional platforms
* Strong understanding of retail processes including: sales transactions, returns and refunds, discounts, taxes, tender/payment types, inventory, reconciliation
* Experience designing integrations using staging tables, validation workflows, and error processing

Preferred Qualifications
* Direct experience with Square APIs or comparable cloud POS platforms
* LS Retail / NAV experience
* Experience with Azure integration services, middleware, or similar technologies
* Multi-location retail integration experience
* Experience supporting production retail launches and go-live stabilization
