(Senior )Data Specialist

My client, a conglomerate with business across Greater China, is hiring an influential Data Specialist who focuses on powerful data solutions.

Job Responsibilities

* Support Master Data Management and modern data analytics platforms, including structured and unstructured data.
* Design and optimize cloud‑native lakehouse architectures for data integration, analytics, and BI.
* Build scalable data models and data pipelines aligned with organizational data strategy and MDM needs.
* Implement data quality, observability, monitoring, and maintain full data lineage for governance.
* Enhance automation, code productivity, anomaly detection, and data catalog management.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for business insights.
* Apply domain knowledge to deliver data solutions.
* Work closely with technical and business teams to support data initiatives.
* Evaluate and adopt new data engineering technologies to improve data quality and accessibility.

Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
* 3-5 years' experience as a Data Engineer, Data Specialist, or similar role.
* Strong skills in data modeling, pipeline development, and cloud data architecture.
* Proficient in SQL, Python, and relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
* Experience with Azure (Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse) and/or Alibaba Cloud data platforms.
* Ability to design dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
* Experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and vector databases is a plus.
* Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Domain knowledge in retail/ trading is preferred.
* Self‑driven and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.
