Fullstack .NET Engineer - Contract

Overview
A global product organisation is looking for a Backend Engineer to join its platform team on a 6-12 month contract based in Malmö. The team is responsible for a cloud-native platform that connects and manages a range of digital devices and integrates with external services.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
*

Support device and data workflows across a distributed platform.
*

Collaborate with frontend engineers, hardware specialists, product managers, and designers.
*

Take features from early concept through to production release.
*

Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices.
*

Work in a cross-functional, agile team with iterative delivery cycles.
*

Participate in a distributed setup with a high degree of remote flexibility.

Tech stack

*

Backend: .NET, C#
*

Databases: PostgreSQL (PostGIS)
*

Data & analytics: Stitch, DBT, Snowflake, Power BI
*

Cloud: Azure (Service Bus, Container Apps)
*

DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
*

Frontend (nice to have): TypeScript, React

Required experience

*

5+ years of backend development in production environments.
*

Proven experience building scalable APIs and backend services.
*

Strong automated testing practices.
*

Solid experience with relational databases.
*

Familiarity with cloud platforms and distributed architectures.
*

Fluent English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

*

Exposure to TypeScript or modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
*

Experience with IoT or device-management platforms.
*

Hands-on work with Azure services.
