D365FO Solution Architect - Remote - £110K

We are working with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner who are expanding their D365FO practice and are now seeking a Finance Solution Architect to take ownership of the design and delivery of enterprise ERP Finance solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping Finance architectures, driving best practice, and ensuring seamless integration across wider D365FO modules and related business systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-growth consultancy at a pivotal stage, working on major Finance transformation programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will act as the bridge between Finance stakeholders, technical teams, and Microsoft, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Define and own the end-to-end Finance solution architecture within D365FO (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Budgeting, Tax, and Regulatory).
* Lead Finance workshops with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solutions.
* Provide architectural governance, ensuring Finance solutions meet both client requirements and Microsoft best practices.
* Oversee integration's between Finance and third-party applications.
* Collaborate closely with consultants, developers, and client Finance teams to ensure seamless delivery.
* Drive Finance process optimisation and system design to improve business performance.
* Produce high-level and detailed Finance solution documentation.
* Act as Finance subject matter expert, guiding delivery teams and mentoring consultants.
* Support change management and end-user adoption within Finance functions.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Proven track record as a D365FO Finance Solution Architect (consultancy experience preferred).
* Deep expertise across core Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Project Accounting, Tax, and Budgeting.
* Knowledge of Finance compliance, localisation, and regulatory reporting requirements.
* Experience designing Finance integration's (e.g., with BI, payroll, banking, and third-party systems).
* Experience delivering Finance transformation within large-scale ERP implementations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with Finance leadership (CFO, Finance Directors, Controllers).
* Ability to balance strategic Finance architecture with hands-on solution design.
