DevOps Consultant - 80-100% (Flexible location : Zurich, Bern or Basel)

DevOps is a set of practices and a working philosophy attracting an increasing number of companies due to the flexibility it provides in managing applications to be deployed.

In today's dynamic business environment, we need to reinforce our DevOps team and are looking for an experienced consultant with a strong background in container orchestration platforms.

Tasks and responsibilities

As a DevOps expert and in collaboration with your colleagues, you support, upgrade, and deploy OpenShift Container Platforms and/or Tanzu Platforms. You are also responsible for various tasks surrounding application deployment, automation, CI/CD, GitOps, and DevSecOps.

Interactions and cooperation between development teams and IT operations professionals are essential. This role thus requires technical and communication skills and the capability to work in a team. You are provided ongoing training while you gain experience with our customers to help you reach the cutting edge of your field, including:

* The main Linux distributions
* Networking and storage solutions
* Containerization, Kubernetes
* Helm or similar package managers
* Ansible and automation/configuration practices
* IaC, Git, and GitOps principles
* CI/CD - e.g. Gitlab CI, ArgoCD
* Monitoring & observability - e.g. Prometheus Stack



Profile

* Swiss specialized degree or equivalent
* You have a good understanding of the Cloud Native technologies and CNCF landscape.
* You have proven experience (at least 2 years) in deploying, managing and supporting container platforms, specifically OCP and/or Tanzu.
* You have performed advanced investigations to troubleshoot and resolve incident on the low-level Kubernetes components such as CNI, CSI, CRI.
* You are used to working as part of a team and know the usual and agile project management methods.
* German and English fluent (French is a plus).
