I am looking for a seasoned Scala developer with a passion for creating high-quality software solutions. Do you thrive in an agile environment where collaboration and innovation are valued?

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop top-notch software using agile techniques like Test-Driven Development and Pair Programming.
* Play an active role in defining user stories, assisting QAs and business stakeholders in setting acceptance criteria.
* Assist the team in selecting the best solutions and technologies for each task.
* Take initiative in managing production issues and release management.
* Contribute to shaping the technical direction of the team.
* Drive continuous improvement within the team.

What You'll Bring:

* Substantial commercial experience as a Senior Scala developer.
* Strong proficiency in TDD/BDD and unit testing.
* Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
* A dedication to Agile software delivery and best practices in pair programming.
* Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices.
* Background in developing software for high-traffic, high-availability large-scale backend systems.
* Proficiency with monitoring tools like Grafana/Prometheus, etc.
* Eagerness and ability to learn new skills and practices.

Technologies / Skills Sought:

* Expertise in Scala development.
* Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
* Experience with CATS, Akka/Akka HTTP, and Kafka.
* Strong understanding of RESTful web services and Agile Best Practices.
* Knowledge of Architectural/Integration Design Patterns.

Beneficial Skills:

* Experience with cloud-based service delivery.
* Proficiency in Git, Linux, Gradle, and CI Build systems like Hudson/Jenkins.
* Familiarity with the ELK Stack.
