A growing Microsoft Partner Consultancy are looking for a passionate Data Engineer join their impressive team, and work on cutting-edge projects for a variety of customers.

The role is home-based, with some element of travel to client sites when required, and to company conferences and events (expenses-paid). For this reason, they're able to consider candidates across the UK.

This role sits within their specialist Data Practice - where you'll work as part of an Agile team to deliver modern data solutions for their clients, enabling better decision-making and driving innovation.

You'll work on projects end-to-end, from running workshops to gather requirements, through to solution design, development, implementation and support.

Projects typically span data ingestion, data storage (e.g. building new data lakes or data warehouses), data processing, data management, analytics and visualisation, using the latest technologies such as Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Fabric, Databricks, Power BI and more.

This role would be well-suited to a Data Engineer looking to take their first-step into Consultancy, or someone who is ready for the next step in their career - being a Microsoft Partner, they are committed to supporting you through your Microsoft Certifications with a huge emphasis on both personal and professional development!

We are looking for experience in most of the below areas…

* Experience in a Data Engineering (or similar) role
* Strong scripting skills in SQL and Python
* Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes using the Azure platform - Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks or Fabric
* Knowledge of data lakes and medallion lake house design
* Working knowledge of Power BI or similar
* Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
* Microsoft Certifications are desirable but not essential

What does my client need?

My client requires a skilled Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect, with a proven track record in Dynamics CE/ CRM implementation, who can also offer experience delivering D365 Contact Centre functionality. The role will see the successful candidate spearhead the full cycle design and architecture of Dynamics 365/ Contact Centre solutions; drawing on the full Microsoft Tech stack/ Power Platform & AI toolset.

Responsibilities of the role

* Leading the design and architecture of Dynamics 365 CE/ Contact Centre solutions to best satisfy customer requirements
* Playing a key role within the D365 practice as Solution Architect; promoting functional best practice in delivery
* Collaborating with cross-functional Microsoft stack teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
* Work across multiple projects at any one time as well as providing support to the wider team when required, including pre-sales discovery work

Skill set

* Proven experience working in Dynamics 365 CE/ Power Platform solution architecture from consultancy perspective
* Firm understanding of Dynamics 365 CE Customer Service/ Contact Centre functionality
* Strong understanding of wider Microsoft Tech Stack and Power Platform/ AI tool sets
* Azure DevOps familiarity; experience in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery pipelines
* Competency in delivering projects along AGILE methodology principles
* Confident stakeholder engagement skills across all levels

Location

The role will be fundamentally home based, with an expectation to client site travel where required; project phase dependant.

Role & Responsibilities

* Business process analysis, requirement gathering and system design
* Functional design, install/ config & testing of new system advancements
* Key user training and project go-live support - key escalation point for BC issues

Skills & Qualifications
