Contract Opportunity - Business Systems Analyst (Insurance)

This position requires someone who lives and breathes data, understands the London market, and has a proven track record in Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance analytics.

Key Requirements
* Minimum 10 years of experience in data-centric Business Analyst roles
* Recent hands-on exposure to London market Insurance operations
* Strong command of SQL and database design principles

* Ability to interpret complex insurance data and translate it into actionable insights

Responsibilities

* Design and optimise databases to support analytical needs
* Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse insurance data
* Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, risks, and strategic opportunities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into delivery pipelines
* Translate business requirements into data specifications and recommend effective solutions
* Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Influence decision-making through evidence-based recommendations

D365FO Systems Accountant - North Wales - £70K

Nigel Frank are working exclusively with an retail company, with a fantastic opportunity for a driven, skilled systems accountant to join a flexible project team at a location in North Wales for a fixed-term contract lasting 12 months.

The main focus of this role is to support a major financial systems transition from one ERP platform to another. This position will provide valuable exposure across departments, offering insights, support, and detailed analysis. You will collaborate closely with the finance department to understand the financial implications of system changes and assist with coordinating usability testing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Support the transfer of financial data between legacy and new systems, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
* Participate in validation and testing of the new financial platform, documenting any issues found.
* Assist with managing the change process, working with different teams to pinpoint improvement areas.
* Deliver training and assistance to finance colleagues on the new system, including preparing guides and leading training sessions.
* Generate and update financial reports during the system transition, maintaining accuracy throughout.
* Identify and support enhancements in finance processes to increase efficiency.

Keep detailed records of new system work flows and procedures.

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies throughout the transition.
* Collaborate with IT, finance, and project leads to facilitate a smooth system roll out.
* Candidates must reside in the UK with the right to work.

Skills & Qualification:

* Finance qualified Accountant
* Experience with implementing ERP systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, is highly advantageous.
* Experience in providing training and support to finance team members on new systems, including creating user guides and conducting training sessions.
* Proficiency in transferring financial data between systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
