My client are a large UK based company within the Healthcare industry. A role where you can contribute to bettering peoples lives.
We are looking for someone with a mix of technical and management experience.
The Role
This role is varied, please find below some of the main responsibilities this role will entail:
* Manage a team of 2/3 people
* Help oversee the migration to Azure Data and PowerBI
* Drive insight to the business
* Design and support the data strategy
* Run a range of MI/BI and reporting initiatives
* Manage the BAU function
* Oversee the QA Process - ensure its is mandated and followed, you are the ultimate sign off
* Best Practises - Tableau server maintenance, adhere to best practises
* Oversight over ETL processes - ensuring there are no failures, create/manage a data warehouse to store data from a data lake or other raw format using an ETL process
Main Skill-Set
We are looking for a good mix of the below skills, (not necessarily all of the below, but a good proportion):
* SQL - 2+ years - proficient in writing script
* Visualisation tools - Tableau (Migrating to Power BI in the next few months)
Desired Skill-Set
These are skills that would be an added bonus if you had them, (it is not compulsory for the role, if you have them - great, but you will have a chance to learn these over time):
* SSIS/Alteryx
* Data lake
* Data warehousing techniques
* Azure storage
* Databricks
* Data Lake
Project Work
These are types for projects this team are working on, to give you an example of what you could be getting involved in:
* Large business wide transformation programme.
* Quality Data Reporting - Automation of reporting.

* Base Salary - From �50,000 to �65,000 per annum (this is a wide range, what you are offered is completely dependent on your skill level which is assessed on your CV and Interview)
