    Data Consultant - Remote - £60,000

    I am working with a Microsoft Partnered consultancy who are looking for a Data Consultant to join their growing team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client projects across a number of different industries such as retail, finance and the public sector.

    In this role you will work with on-premise SQL Server and Azure technologies to ensure the timely delivery of data solutions to clients. You will work on a number of projects that will enable you to continually develop your existing skill set. You will be joining a people centered business, who invest heavily in its team and will be given the opportunity to explore other areas of technologies that may be of interest to you, including data science, machine learning and AI.

    As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

    * Create robust ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure tech stack
    * The migration of client data solutions from on-premise to Azure
    * Be involved in the design, development and maintenance of on-premise Data Warehouse
    * Support clients throughout the project life cycle



    This is a salaried role paying up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience and a company benefits package. This is a predominantly a home-based role with occasional fully expensed visits to client sites as and when required. You will also commute to company retreats once per quarter to meet other members of the team.



    To be successful in the role you will have.

    * Strong data warehousing experience
    * Experience designing and implementing ETL solutions with SSIS.
    * Coding experience with languages such as SQL.
    * Experience working with the Azure tech stack would be beneficial
    * Excellent communication skills

    A well-established organisation based in Surrey are looking for a BI & Analytics Engineering Manager to lead a technical team of Developers, who are focused on building end-to-end solutions for various business teams, both on-premise and on Azure using a modern data platform architecture.

    This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements, where you'll likely be required to come into their Epsom office around 1-2 days per week on average.

    As a manager, you will responsible for coaching and leading a cross-functional team, and will be supported in taking on the role of Scrum Master - it's important to note that you don't necessarily need to have been a Scrum Master before, as long as you are happy to step into this role.

    You will act as a role model in demonstrating data leadership, agile principles and engineering excellence. Whilst most of your role will be hands-off management and strategic work, you will still sometimes need to be technically hands-on, owning the enterprise data warehouse and a range of key data sources and analytical solutions including Power BI reporting.

    As such, we are looking for an individual with a solid background in Microsoft BI & Analytics development, and a desire to lead a high-performing team. The role would be well-suited to an existing Manager, or a seasoned BI or Data Developer looking to take a step-up into Management.

    I am working with a client who operate within financial services who are looking for a SQL Server DBA to join their growing database team team. In this role you will primarily be focused on supporting the companies on premise servers however over time you will become responsible for supporting the organisations cloud based servers as they work through their current migration project.
