Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Implementation Contractor (6-month Contract)

* Based at Observatory head office (Cape Town) with at least one visit per week required.
* Lead the implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central for a prominent Liquor/Wine industry client.
* Thoroughly understand and map business requirements and processes across all areas of the business.
* Analyze, model, and document existing and planned business processes for improvement.
* Configure and customize administrative features and design effective workflows within Business Central.
* Manage finance and operations data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Demonstrate expertise in key functional areas: finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, and sales.
* Deliver the entire implementation service from design and configuration to testing, training, cutover, and reporting.
* Recommend and implement best practices for process improvement and reduced inefficiencies.
* Train end users on effective utilization of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
* Provide ongoing support to employees, answering questions and resolving issues related to the system.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Minimum 5 years of practical implementation experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (NAV) or its predecessor (Microsoft NAV).
* Proven track record of successful in-house implementations within an organization.
* Strong understanding of logistics and finance processes within the Liquor/Wine industry (advantageous).
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
* Ability to recommend and implement additional modules and third-party add-ons.
* Demonstrated experience in user training and ongoing customer support.
* Passion for technology and commitment to delivering successful business solutions.
